HillCroft Cottages & Events was a dream that became a reality in 2022 when we purchased the most beautiful 40 acre property to share with all of you!
We know that you will love the space, the fresh air, the cute & cozy cottages and the opportunity to get back to your roots!
About HillCroft Cottages & Events
Our Story
We started HillCroft Cottages & Events with the mission to provide the best vacation rental & event experience for our guests. With years under our belts in hospitality, we understand what it takes to make your stay enjoyable & memorable.
HillCroft Cottages
There are currently two beautiful cottages on this tranquil 40 acre, country property, located just 15 minutes North of Gravelbourg, Sk.
Each cottage boasts incredible views of the rolling hills of Southern Saskatchewan, a private 4 season hot tub on each cottage deck, cozy gas fireplaces, full kitchens, an upstairs & main floor bathroom, comfy king & queen beds & Starlink WIFI.
Each cottage is pet friendly, with thorough cleaning applied between each guest stay.
We supply:
* linens & bedding
*towels
*soaps & shampoos
*dishes and other needs for the kitchen & cooking *coffee, coffee filters
* Salt & Pepper
*propane for the bbq
*firewood
*some drinking water
*doggie poop bags for your furry 4 legged friends
You may want to bring along:
* more drinking water
* fixings for your coffee (if needed)
*your own passwords for your Netflix, prime, paramount or other apps for the smart TV's
(there are plenty of free apps on the TV)
* spices that you need to cook with
* you're welcome to bring along firewood, we do not have an unlimited amount

We'll work with you to customize your event. Let us take care of the details so you can focus on relaxing and celebrating!
Did you know? When you book an event, you have full use of the 40 acres, the 2 fully serviced cottages, an event tent (don't worry, we set it up for you) and tables & chairs. We can offer catering options, decor, designated drivers & so much more. Give us a shout! Let's get planning!!

- Girls' Weekends! Bring your besties and your bevies, leave the rest up to us!
- Romantic Getaway Packages includes choice of wine/champagne, supper & dessert (option to have it delivered to cottage) from Wheatland Pub & Eatery in Gravelbourg
- Large Family gatherings & reunions (parking/dry camping available for self-contained travel trailers, tents etc)
- Weddings for up to 60 people (event tent, catered meals, Personalized packages available to fit all budgets)
- Weddings for over 60 people, give me a shout so that we can discuss plans for your perfect day!
The Future is Bright! (And green, with some feathers!)
What's Next......
We have plans to resurrect the heritage home that stands proudly on the property today. Her name is HillCroft House and she's got a beautiful soul and a cool history. We can't wait to bring her back to life and share her with future guests. Built in the 1900's, she has been home to farming families of the past. She will provide a gathering place for guests with her grand ol' parlour, wood burning brick fireplace & commercial kitchen. Stay tuned!
We are also planning a community garden so that you can go back to your own roots and get your hands in some soil while you dig for fresh veggies.
And finally, what better way to compost those carrot tips than with some feathered friends?
We are bringing in some hens to offer you up some egg-foraging opportunities while planning your next meal and giving you the opportunity to meet some 'ladies' who will help with the veggie scraps. Win win! The HillCroft Hens will join us late spring.
